Virginia State Board Prep Workshop
Style Easy
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Style Easy offers an 8-hour hands-on state board preparation course structured to help students successfully navigate the Virginia State Board Cosmetology Practical Exam. Our courses cover all practical subjects of Cosmetology as prescribed by the criteria set forth by the Virginia State Board of Cosmetology.

The course does not include application submission to DPOR/PROV

This course does not include theory instructions and tutoring.
The courses include all 11 practical testing areas:
1. Work Area and Client Preparation, and Set Up of Supplies
2. Thermal Curling
3. Haircutting
4. Work Area and New Client Preparation, and Set Up of Supplies
5. Chemical Waving
6. Predisposition Test and Strand Test with Simulated Product
7. Highlighting with Foil, Virgin Application with Colored Simulated Product
8. Hair Color Retouch with Colored Simulated Product
9. Virgin Hair Relaxer Application with Colored Simulated Product
10. Blood Exposure Procedure
11. Hair Removal of the Eyebrows by Tweezing and Using Simulated Soft Wax

For the highest chance of passing the board, it is advised to complete all 11 sections of the course.

To book and secure a date for a state board class, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required, with the remaining balance due before the course begins.

After scheduling and securing your course date, you will receive an appointment confirmation letter via email.

A 2% surcharge is applied to cover credit card payments, with all funds required before the session.
Cancellation Policy

You can cancel and reschedule your tutoring session up to 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the scheduled time. Refunds, excluding the $100 non-refundable deposit, will be processed within 30 days.

Style Easy Foundational Color Workshop
The Style Easy Foundational Color Workshop is designed to ease any concerns about color procedures. This workshop will refresh your foundational knowledge while equipping both new and experienced stylists with the tools needed to achieve your desired color outcomes.
Our educational team, composed of skilled colorists with extensive experience, will provide you with the confidence to perform color procedures. This class also enhances your understanding of color terminology and methodology.
